Complexity and uncertainty entail different approaches to devising and implementing strategy and the way leadership operates. This presentation provides some ways in which AIM members can make sense of these complex challenges and identifies some leadership approaches to engaging with these challenges in order to make decisions and implement strategy.

Hi everyone, please find a link to the leadership survey and presentation below.

I was really taken by the idea of "wicked" problems, which is a concept that seems very difficult to overcome. Wondering how people have addressed this "butterfly effect" in their own organisations and when developing strategy? Does scenario planning work? Is the complexity too much? Do you simply hire and develop "good people" who can make sense of it all as it happens and respond well?

What other questions and issues did people have from last night's presentation?
