The forum seems quiet, not much activity, so do we have drinks on Friday night?
I find professional groups stiff, they dont seem to know how to relax and enjoy themselves either that or they go overboard, drink too much and make fools of themselves.
Networking is a valuable tool in the development of the 21st century manager. Yes i agree you do have networking groups with a guest speaker, but what about just a networking group no guest speaker, where people can meet and get to know one another. Invitation to ALL members. Could even be a meet and greet type networking theme.
Im sure one of your corporate sponsers would agree to even funding such an event.
It would also be a way of informing members what's on, or what's coming. Im not suggesting every Friday night, once a month , once every two months, or have I missed them.
Anyhow just a thought, but what do you think??
